Disability InsuranceWe provide both short-term and long-term plans. These plans can be set up either of two ways: as a percentage of the employees' salary, or as a flat amount per week/month. The benefit of a Disability Plan is to cover the employee who is unable to work, providing temporary income. As with Life Insurance, we offer Voluntary Plans which are no cost to the employer because the employee pays the premium. When a claim occurs, the employer does not have to get involved as the insurer takes on the responsibility of assessing the disability.
